Cloudehill Gardens Photography and Videos

When Rachel called us, she told us that she wasn't going to have a wedding photographer and only wanted a videographer instead. I felt it would be a shame to not have any photos at all and suggested that we use one of our videographers to take some photos whenever we could. This would keep cost down and she'd at least have a few photos. As you can see from this album, we captured a beautiful series of images and are thrilled that they agreed with our suggestion! Nathania Springs Wedding Videography

The chapel at Nathania Springs looks out over the serene Dandenong Ranges forest, but Todd wasn't really interested in that view as his gaze was fixed down the aisle. And with four flower girls and four bridesmaids proceeding down the red carpet before Chayley, the wait must've seemed like forever! You have the option of an indoor chapel wedding or an outdoor gazebo ceremony at Nathania Springs. Chayley and Todd were married in the chapel, and took their photos by the gazebo, so they got the best of both! Watch their video.

Poet's Lane Wedding with Rachel & Hayden

We've been to Poet's Lane many times and on each occasion we try to do things a little differently. Rachel and Hayden had a large bridal party wearing beautiful earthy tones and burnt sienna highlights. It was a perfect pairing with the natural colours of Poet's Lane (the laneway itself), fallen leaves and rustic timbers so we held the portrait shoot out there. This really was the perfect day for Rachel and Hayden's wedding and you'll see their enjoyment come through in these photos.

Lyrebird Falls Wedding Photography

Cheryl had one bridesmaid, her sister Cherie, and together they spent the morning getting ready at their Glen Waverley home. We always love prep shots at home, as everybody is comfortable with the environment and it adds character and sentiment to the photos. Even their dog made an appearance. After a relaxing session there, it was a lovely drive up the Dandenongs to Lyrebird Falls where all the excitement began. View Cheryl & Shazan's Album

Poet's Lane Wedding Videography

Catherine and Jonathon had faced numerous challenges and hurdles to get to this day due to circumstances outside of their control. As a result, Catherine basically organised most of the wedding herself while her husband to be, Jonathon, was required in New Zealand. He basically flew in to attend his own wedding! This therefore wasn't just a marriage of two people in love, but a culmination of months of effort and being apart. We hope you enjoy the video! Watch Catherine & Jono's Video

Poet's Lane + Cloudehill Gardens Wedding

When we met with Jia and Cecelia at our studio, Jia made it clear to us that he felt awkward in front of the camera and would need help with posing. This is pretty common for many couples and we therefore set out to make things as comfortable as possible, capturing more candid photos, but still achieving a few staged shots at the beautiful Cloudehill Gardens. They had a lovely First Look there followed by a chapel ceremony and dinner reception at Poet's Lane.

Lyrebird Falls Wedding Videography

The gorgeous, lush surroundings of the Dandenong Ranges are always a popular choice for weddings. Laura and her bridesmaids made the most of it by spending a night in Olinda where they could get ready in a beautiful AirB&B a few minutes away from Lyrebird Falls. Less travel means a more relaxing wedding day for all! From there, it was off to a beautiful outdoor ceremony under the Lyrebird Falls gazebo. We captured all the vows and emotion of the ceremony followed by a photoshoot at the Alfred Nicholas Gardens. Watch David & Laura's Video.

Tatra Receptions Wedding Photography

It was New Year's Eve and Abby and her bridesmaids had been up since 3am to get ready. We had a full day ahead including games as the groomsmen gatecrashed, a serenade, tea ceremony, wedding portraits at Cloudehill Gardens, then the ceremony and reception at Tatra. This was going to be one major 14 hour event that saw in the new year. Jon and Abby, along with their bridal party kept their energy high and we kept up with their every move! Garden Wedding at a Sherbrooke AirBnB

Bethany and Shian had organised their wedding in only 3 weeks! With the easing of restrictions on the horizon in December 2020, they jumped at the opportunity and gathered their closest family and friends for an intimate garden wedding at an AirBnB property in Sherbrooke. As you'll see from these photos, the space was delightful, and a perfect setting for their special day. After the ceremony, we brought them to Poet's Lane for a change of scenery and to capture some gorgeous wedding portraits. We did both the photography and videography, so be sure to watch the video at the bottom of the album!
